JOB DESCRIPTION
D2 TEAM-Sim is looking for an experienced UI Designer to work on challenging UI/UX for our web based applications. We are not looking for website designers.
You will be the user advocate and create UI design frameworks, behavioral and UI specifications, and aesthetic designs. You will perform user experience testing and support building the front-end user interface.
The UI Designer will also work with product management to produce creative designs with quick turn-around times.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Create consistent user experiences and visual designs on products targeted for desktop and mobile devices.
- Create wireframes (Balsamiq, Axure, etc.) and pixel-perfect mock-ups/visual specs for UI developers.
- Build front-end user interfaces using HTML/CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
- Keep up with current conventions in the interface design and user experience communities.
- Develop UI/graphic/art assets (in Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) for use in Flash/Flex/MXML/CSS application development.
- Conduct guerilla user research and present your findings.
- Collaborate with other designers, product managers, and developers to ensure that your solutions excel in every possible way.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree with 3-5+ years of experience designing and documenting desktop and/or handheld applications, or large-scale web-based applications, involving detailed design schematics.
- You are a problem solver who enjoys working on a variety of challenges who can stay self-managed under deadlines.
- Expert with Adobe software and Microsoft Windows environment.
- Solid writing and visual communication skills.
- A professional and personal portfolio demonstrating interface design that showcases a breadth of creative styles and approaches.

You Will:
Work with our D2 TEAM-Sim production team(s) to design interactive computer-based training (CBT) content using our authoring and content management tool.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum Bachelor‘s degree in education related field, Master’s strongly preferred. 5+ years of experience in e-learning courseware design or professional CBT development is a big plus.
- Experience performing training needs and audience analysis
- Acumen to storyboard, design and develop interactive and engaging online training content.
- Analyze trends, research and propose best practices in technology, delivery methods, and customer satisfaction.
- Design and develop knowledge and performance-based learning checks, assessments, and other mechanisms/methods to verify and/or remediate learning or SW emulation exercises.
- A track record of innovative and effective delivery and measurement of training and development programs.
- Experience with or understanding of LMS systems like Moodle, Saba or Blackboard, authoring tools like Captivate, Storyline, Claro or Lectora, graphical layout, digital audio, video and gaming asset usage in course development and SCORM packaging is a big plus.
Work closely and effectively with a diverse group of multimedia developers and graphic artists

AIP is looking for a graphic designer to assist with the production of motion graphics and 3D animation for the various requirements of the company. This includes design, creation of assets, bringing them to life, modelling, animation, outputting and delivering high quality and innovative motion graphic content.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Assisting the Instructional designer in producing motion graphic and 3D content
- Where applicable, producing motion graphics and 3D content from concept to delivery,
- Communicating with stakeholders, where applicable, regarding the production and delivery of content
- Working on multiple projects concurrently, balancing time constraints whilst maintaining quality
- Encoding, converting and editing videos and graphical sequences
- Producing DVD interfaces from either scratch or following a design

Essential Requirements

Responsibilities:
- Manage government and commercial service project activities for multiple projects across all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure.
- Work collaboratively with development team comprising of instructional designer, graphic/2D and 3D-animation artist, video editor and game developer to determine technical direction and approach to design, implementation and delivery of content to large government agencies and Fortune 1000 companies.
- Create, manage and track projects, including, but not limited to:
- Project schedules

Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. or B.A. degree in Business Administration, Management, Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related field, Master degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in a technology environment, including 2-3 years of practical professional experience in program management.
- Fundamental understanding of computer based distance learning and instructional content development.
- Proficient with MS Project or similar software and MS Office applications.
- Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional project teams.
- Ability to adjust and set priorities to meet deadlines.
